About the Role:

Glofood is seeking a talented and experienced professional for the position of Senior Business Development Specialist / Business Development Manager (Frozen Foods). This role is responsible for driving category growth, developing strategic plans, managing supplier relationships, and expanding the frozen food business in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement category strategies to grow the frozen food business.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
Source and manage suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and maintain strong partnerships.
Lead new product development and product portfolio expansion.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to achieve category targets.
Manage pricing strategy, promotions, and profitability of the frozen category.
Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market share.
Ensure product quality, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
Prepare business reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations for management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Food Technology, or related fields.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in category development, product management, or commercial roles within the food industry, preferably frozen foods.
Strong market understanding of food frozen / foodservice markets.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
